Hands down this is the best standard Chinese joint in Indy. At least that I've come across so far. The owners are awesome, and the food is always good. They definitely have the best crab rangoon out there. I'm so happy I don't live next door to it anymore, I think I gained 20 pounds when I did.

Based on my first experience, pretty good. I got an Egg Roll, which was big and tasty. The Chicken Lo Mein was good, and I really liked the Crab Rangoon. Each piece was filled, it was also crunchy at the top and soft at the bottom.I called in my order and he said it would be ready in 10 - 15 mins, I was there almost 15 minutes later and my order was ready. Plus it smelled like Chinese Food inside. I've checked out other places that either had no aroma whatsoever or there was an ammonia smell. Yuck! When I get Chinese Food I like the restaurant to smell like the delicious foods they're making, and First Wok certainly did.

A great Chinese food restaurant within walking distance from my apartment. Offering your standard fast-paced Chinese food menu sprinkled with egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, crab ragoon, rices, and everything in between, this nomnom establishment is worth your time and money. It comes recommended. The inside is divey in a very clean way. The employees are great and they deliver flawless product, no matter how busy the restaurant is. The area can get crowded from time to time, but they never seem overwhelmed. They cook a mean sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, egg rolls, and soups. The wanton and egg drop is by far my favorite. The portions are extremely generous and I would applaud you if you were able to eat your entire meal in one sitting. It's a perfect place for dinner, and then scrumptious leftovers for lunch the following day. The lunch menu is a great deal if you get in there before 3pm, and the dinner combos aren't badly priced either. Dinner combos and a pint of soup will run you around $9, give or take. If you live in the Broad Ripple area, this is one of the best Chinese places! If you're feeling bloated, hop on over to Big Lots to wok off your calories. Funny?

Best Chinese food I've ever had.I come here at least three times a month, which is a lot for me! Their food is great and their portions are HUGE! I get the Hunan Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice and I can easily get three meals out of each. Around 15 dollars for six meals, you can't beat that! The service here is really great. I've never had anyone be rude or snappy. They are ALWAYS happy and smiling. They really make you feel welcome. The mother that used to do the cash register wouldn't even have to ask me what I wanted because she remembered! That's very important to make the customer feel important!I recommend this place to ALL of my friends.
